It was rather quiet for awhile, slightly tense as they watched each other. I wonder what is he thinking. Kaito waited patiently for Conan to say something and licked his ice-cream in silence. Finally, Conan broke the silence.
Rin-neechan? What? “Rin-neechan?” Darn, the kid is studying me. Who in the world is that? “Say kid, how does she look like? I am bad at memorising names, you see.” Kaito lied with a smile.
Is this some kind of trick?“Why don’t you tell me all about her while we eat?”
“Hm… if you don’t know her, then that’s alright.” Damn, so that didn’t get him anything. He was sure that if Kaito knew him well, he might have slipped and corrected him. Conan had to think of something better to trick him. But what?
“Why don’t you tell me about yourself instead? Kaito-onii–” Conan stopped midsentence to gasp, wild thoughts running through his mind. The other’s name boomed several times through his mind, as well his voice. The mental volume was almost deafening, almost as it was trying its hardest to remind Conan of who he was.
Kaito.. Kaito… Kaito… Could it be–

Kaito Kid?!
