“Of course!” A short walk later, they finally reached the store. Luckily, it seems that the only toliet in this store is occupied. The show is about to begin! “Conan-kun, what do you want to eat?” Grinning, Kaito didn’t bother to listen for the answer. He already knew Conan would not have time to reply…

“RINGGG!!!”The phone in Conan’s pocket started to blast the ringtone. Kaito smirked.
I can see his confusion, why did the phone ring?It was supposed to be silent.. Not to mention it was Shinichi’s… I had turned it on before returning, to ensure the trick would work.
“Conan-kun? Your phone is ringing, why don’t you pick it up?”
WHAT. HUH?! WHAT WAS HAPPENING.
Frightened by the loud ringtone, Conan rapidly fished the phone out of his pocket and immediately flipped it open to look at the caller ID. Weird though… The number shown seemed to be unknown and he always put his phone on vibrate.
Either way, the caller seemed to expect the voice of Shinichi, but he couldn’t possibly alter his own voice in front of this person and, as far as Conan knew, the toilet here was occupied so he couldn’t hide away to take the call. Was this a trick set up by this man? He could never be sure enough. He better make up some lie and call the strange number back later.
“A-haha…” He quickly turned his phone off and closed it. “I don’t know from who it is, so I don’t wanna pick up! Lately I got a lot of spam calls from salesmen but I’m just a kid… Ahahaha…." That was a lie, but at least it wasn’t that hard to believe.
"Can I have chocolate mint ice cream?”
